The Prevention, Retention, Contingency (PRC) Program is an emergency assistance program for families with minor children. Due to decreased funding, the services available in this program are extremely limited. For more information contact email@example.com .
Currently, applications are being accepted from 11/1/10 – 3/31/11 for families in need of heating assistance. You must first apply for and receive HEAP assistance (732-2277, ext. #3) and if you receive your service through Duke, you must be enrolled in the PIP program. PRC can be utilized for gas, oil, electric and wood, but it must be for the primary heat source. If your heat is electric, you must have a disconnect notice and the bill must be in the applicant’s name (or the father, mother or relative caretaker name).
